Communication Components

Dear Flash user,

I have installed a trial version of Flash Communication Server 2. This server includes some applications.

I understand that i can use these applications by using the components enlisted in Communication Components.

However, i have tried a lot of things, but without any effect. I still do not see the communication components in my components listing.

Please help.

P.S. I am using Flash 8 professional, but I have also installed Flash MX professional.
P.S. It could be that my connection to the server is not good, is there a easy way to test it?

Quit Flash, run the installer and restart Flash. They should appear in your Component window... Are you sure you have the right installer?

And also: we are afcourse glad to help you, but you may be better off at an english speaking forum, like www.kirupa.com or something :).

Bedankt Dauntless voor je reactie.

Zoals je vermeld hebt, heb ik Flash 8 opnieuw geinstalleerd. Echter Communication components ontbreekt nog steeds. In het components menu stond en staat wel: Data, Flv Playback 8, Flv Playback Custum, Media, User Interface.

Is er niet een manier hoe je Flash 8 koppelt aan je server?

Maruhm, die components komen dacht ik niet standaard met Flash. Zijn dat de deze niet?

(Het is misschien niet proper om rechtstreeks naar de msi te linken, maar ik vond niet hoe ik er graakte via de macromedia site :S ).

Het was niet de goede file die je door hebt gegeven maar het bracht me wel weer op een nieuw idee om te achterhalen waar de file mogelijk kon staan.

Achteraf is het logisch dat de .fla file behorende bij de applicaties van Communication Server 2 ook gevonden kon worden op de macromedia- site onder Communication Server 2.

Hieronder volgt het adres, voor het geval er nog meer mensen naar op zoek zijn.
