Ik ben voor een klant bezig met een zoekfunctie. Nou heb ik erg weinig plaats voor het inputveld en de 'zoek' knop. Dus dacht ik aan zoiets als het DHTML menu wat hier op flashfocus ook gebruikt wordt: je klikt op de knop 'zoek' en het inputveld komt tevoorschijn.

Nou is mijn vraag of ik het script wat verantwoordelijk is voor die actie zondermeer mag gebruiken. Ik weet dat vBulletin geen gratis software is, maar ik heb alleen maar dat ene scriptje nodig.

Misschien dat een moderator van FF mij hier wat meer over kan vertellen.

De vBulletin zoekmachine is gemaakt om binnen de database van de desbetreffende fora te zoeken. Deze is niet echt los te koppelen, dan wel op een moeilijke manier. Ook heb je anders de .php codes voor nodig, welke ook op je webspace toegestaan moeten zijn. Ik kan je bij voorbaat zeggen, deze zoekmotor kan je niet zo verkrijgen, en als je deze hebt, dan is hij niet te gebruiken.

Als je alleen het popup-dhtml-ding bedoelt, dan zijn er genoeg voorbeelden op internet verkrijgbaar.

Ik bedoel inderdaad alleen dat popup dingetje. Ik heb gezocht, maar zo'n mooi strak ding als vBulletin gebruikt ben ik niet tegengekomen.

Ik denk dat je beter een mail kan sturen naar info@vBulletin.com. Die staan onderin (Copyright ©2000 - 2005, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.) en gaan over de software. Flashfocus heeft het alleen gekocht om het te gebruiken...

Persoonlijk zou ik de code er gewoon uitfilteren en dusdanig veranderen dat het 'jouw' script is, maar of dat klopt qua legaliteit, geen idee. Ik vraag mij ook af of iemand bij FF dat weet :)

Je zou dat soort van effects ook hiermee kunnen maken is nog opensource ook :D dus mag je sowieso gebruiken :cool:
